Version 1.1.4
Build 94 Release date: TODOLocalization plus a much smarter genre engine.
New
- Full localization — the app is now available in German, French, and Spanish in addition to English.
Improved
- More accurate genre search. Artists are now matched by confirmed Apple Music IDs instead of by name. Previously a same-named artist from a completely different genre could slip into a playlist — for example, a niche hardcore act colliding with a famous pop or electronic act of the same name. Each artist is now resolved to a verified Apple Music ID, so the right one is matched. In benchmark testing, on-genre accuracy across decided tracks rose from about 81% to about 98% — and from about 60% to 100% for hardcore specifically.
- Daily genre refresh. Genre lists now update every day, so newly added artists and genres show up faster.
- Reproducible "last N days" windows. Release-radar-style playlists (7 / 30 / 90 days) now produce consistent, repeatable results.
- Faster sync overall.
- Cleaned-up settings screen.
- Easier suggestions. The "suggest an artist or genre" email now includes a direct Apple Music link, so suggestions are quicker to act on.
Fixed
- Interrupted background syncs now resume reliably when you reopen the app, instead of stalling or starting over.
- Cancelling a sync now stops progress immediately.
- The ad banner clears right after you subscribe and no longer flashes briefly on launch for subscribers.
- The Lock Screen / Dynamic Island Live Activity now resumes correctly when the app is closed mid-sync, and no longer shows a false "sync interrupted" warning.
- The "sync complete" notification no longer pops up over a screen you're already working in.
- Corrected track counts that could drift on the overview screen.
- Some genre searches that previously returned no tracks (for example, certain hardcore and Frenchcore styles) now return the right results.
Known limitations
- Search is artist-based; searching by track title is not yet supported.
- The app manages only playlists it created; it does not edit your existing Apple Music playlists.
- Background sync is most reliable with the app open and the screen active — battery optimization can end long background runs early on large artist lists.
- Niche, regional, or very new genres may not always be found.
