My playlist isn't updating. What should I check?

Make sure the playlist is enabled (toggle in the playlist list). Check that you have an active Apple Music subscription and that Track Tailor has permission to access your music library (Settings → Privacy → Media & Apple Music). If iCloud sync is on, wait a moment for changes to propagate across devices.

How do I set up iCloud sync?

Go to Settings within the app and enable iCloud Sync. Your playlist configurations will sync automatically across all devices signed in to the same Apple ID. iCloud sync requires iOS 17 or later.

Why aren't some artists or tracks showing up?

Track Tailor searches the Apple Music catalog. If a track or artist isn't available in your country's Apple Music library, it won't appear in results. Try adjusting the date range or checking whether the artist has content available on Apple Music in your region.

A genre isn't resolving to any artists. What can I do?

Some niche genre tags may not match any artists in the external sources the app uses (Spotify, Last.fm, MusicBrainz, Discogs). Check Settings → Unresolved Genres to see which genres failed. Try using a broader genre name or adding specific artists directly instead.

How do I restore my Remove Ads purchase?

Open Settings within the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Can I use Track Tailor without an Apple Music subscription?

An active Apple Music subscription is required to create and manage playlists in your library. The app uses Apple's MusicKit framework, which requires a subscription for library access.

How do I delete all my data?

Deleting the app from your device removes all local data. To also remove iCloud data, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Track Tailor → Delete Data.
